REPORT ON
VIDYALAY A LEVEL (BHARAT SCOUTS AND GUIDES) :KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA MISSAMARI
TREE
PLANTATION
The Bharat Scouts and Guides Unit of
Kendriya Vidyalaya Missamari observed the tree plantation in the school premises
on 06.08.2009. The main aim of the programme was to create
awareness among the young scouts and guides regarding the importance of green
environment. Around one hundred saplings were planted and the children vowed
that they shall take care of these saplings until they are fully grown. Together
with this plantation the children also did the weeding work by clearing all the
weeds that had covered the school garden and school area by using local
instruments. Around fifty children participated in it together with two Scout
Masters Mr. Dinesh Singh and Duryodhan Barik. The Principal of the Vidyalaya Mr.
R. Thakur highly appreciated this noble work of the Scouts and hoped that this
good work shall continue in future. The children were provided with refreshment
by the Vidyalaya
